Camp Knowledge Base. The Open Source for Camp Professionals
What it is.
Camp Knowledge Base is an open, community-driven space being built to give every camp professional a space to share knowledge. It is not gatekept, paywalled, or limited to any one organization. It is designed to grow over time as community members contribute videos, podcasts, documents, and practical guides.
Think of it as a year-round camp conference in progress: a living hub that will offer quick trainings, real expertise, and practical ideas, all shaped by those who use it.
In short: Camp Knowledge Base is a video-first, open-source resource for Camp Professionals, built by community Presenters and Partners, and available to all.

Who we are.
We’re the Vrooman Brothers (pronounced like Roman with a V in front). We grew up at camp and on staff. Those summers became a crucial part of our story even as life took us in different directions. Pat has decades of camp leadership, continues to serve today, and trains teachers at the largest teacher prep program in the state of Ohio. Steve spent a decade with his children serving as a camp volunteer across US and Europe, and currently supports cyber resilience of military installations and the cities they live in. Our goal is to create a venue that allows for existing, new, different, and unheard voices to be heard in the camp industry.
